Blakely School of Real Estate will be closed for business on the following holidays:
• New Years Day
• Memorial Day

• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day & following Friday

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY
A student has the right to cancel registration for any reason up to seven (7) calendar days from
the date of purchase for a full refund. Requests for cancellation of registration must be made
by contacting Blakely School of Real Estate by phone or e-mail. The request must be received
by Blakely School of Real Estate before midnight of the seventh calendar day from the date of
purchase.

COURSE EXPIRATION AND REVIEW
Students will have one (1) year from the date of enrollment to access and complete their
course. Once the course is complete students will have access to all the material less final
exams for that full year.

COURSE EXTENSION POLICY
If the student cannot complete the course within the one-year period, they may request a six-month extension from Blakely School of Real Estate (18 months total from the date of
purchase). It is the student’s responsibility to contact the school coordinator to find out about
an extension. It is recommended that student request the extension immediately after the
course has expired in order to be able to have the full six months of the extension. This may also
be contingent upon state rules.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING THE COURSE
Please refer to the directions on the course home page for specific instructions regarding the
completion of your course. To complete the course and receive the Completion Certificate,
students must successfully complete the following requirements:


• Complete the Student Affidavit during orientation.
• Complete ALL instructional lessons in the course.
• Complete the final exam (online or proctored depending the state).

CERTIFICATE OF COURSE COMPLETION
Upon completion, of the course, students will receive a completion certificate from Blakely School
of Real Estate. In the event the certificate is lost, a duplicate may be obtained from the school
office by request.

REFUNDS
No, refunds will be issued. The state of Florida prohibits schools from providing refunds for students that do not pass.


PROCESSING TIMES
After completing all the lessons on the computer, please allow the following time for processing
to receive the Course Completion Certificate:
Receipt of course completion certificate by email – 3-5 Business Days (estimated)

TEXTBOOK(S)
The average time to ship textbooks to FL and NY is approximately two to three business days.
Orders placed for textbooks requesting same day shipping must be ordered before 12:00pm
EST.

RECORD RETENTION
School records are maintained in our systems and are available for a period of at least three
(3) years, and in some cases longer, dependent upon state law.

When taking our educational courses, students are expected to comply with all policies as
stated within this school catalog. Failure to adhere to these policies may invalidate student
eligibility for course credit. (These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.)
